Smart and Sassy Beginners
This is a course focused on having a well behaved dog, but also doing fun training exercises with them, without the pressure of a test at the end. This is the next stage on from puppy foundation. Also suitable for beginners and dogs new to training. This is a good course to do before starting the KC Bronze award. Dogs from 5 months of age.
Things we cover include:
Full formal recall. Finish. Wait. Stay. Hold & give. Sit/Down/Stand and proofing these a bit more. Lots of heel work, including heel work commands (close, back etc). We also cover some fun exercises such as ‘hit it’ and Search.
From spring to autumn these will take place outside on our private grounds, during winter months they will take place in a hall. The course lasts 5 weeks (5 sessions).
Dogs must be friendly with dogs and people, and non-reactive. They must be suitable to work indoors, in a group environment.

Both courses have 2 qualified instructors present and a maximum of 8 dogs.
We do require a non-refundable deposit and this will secure your place on the course.
